Strategic Sectors Development Plans
The consultants conducting the Strategic Sector Study for the Regional District recently issued the newsletter posted below that summarizes the status of the project. The RDMW has also hosted several sector workshops with industry participants to discuss ideas for initiatives that could help boost economic activity. You can read a summary of these focus group discussions in the document below. We have also developed an online survey to provide an additional opportunity to provide thoughts and suggestions on the development of the strategic sectors. Regional Plan Review
The Regional District of Mount Waddington (RDMW) is currently undertaking a bylaw review process to update the RDMW Regional Plan Bylaw No. 674, 2003. The Regional Plan is a strategic policy document, it establishes a vision for the Region and combines Regional District policies on land use, regional district services and economic development.
