2024 7 Mile Landfill and Recycling Report
This report presents the 2024 Annual Report for the 7 Mile Landfill, owned and operated by the Regional District of Mount Waddington. Prepared by Sperling Hansen Associates, the report provides a summary of landfill operations, waste diversion activities, and environmental monitoring conducted during the 2024 reporting period. It also includes an assessment of landfill capacity and projected lifespan, landfill gas generation and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, and operational recommendations for the coming year. The findings are based on site inspections, survey data, environmental monitoring results, and operational information provided by the Regional District.
