This document outlines the 2026 Strategic Marketing Plan for the Vancouver Island North Tourism (VINT) initiative. Developed in collaboration with regional partners and Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT) stakeholders, the plan establishes the strategic direction for tourism marketing and destination development across the Vancouver Island North region. Building on the goals of the existing five-year Strategic Business Plan, it identifies key priorities, target markets, and marketing initiatives designed to increase visitation, extend visitor stays, and enhance tourism-related economic benefits for local communities. Through coordinated regional promotion and collaboration with industry and Indigenous partners, this plan supports the continued growth and recognition of Vancouver Island North as a distinctive and world-class travel destination.
