Our Volunteer Fire Departments need YOU!
A local Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) is necessary for a community to have fire protection services that keep property insurance rates reasonable for residents and businesses alike. In that spirit, all able-bodied individuals living in unincorporated communities are encouraged to talk with their local fire chief about becoming a volunteer member, particularly if they do not normally commute work to other locations. Without enough volunteers, communities risk losing their fire protection and seeing incident response times become much greater. Our VFDs want to hear from you!
