2024 Reservations for Bere Point and Quatse Regional Campground opened February 1, 2024 at 8:30am (Pacific Standard Time)
All RDMW managed Recreation Sites and Trails are open to the public.
If you are camping at Bere Point, please be aware of the following:
- Reservations are not required during our off season (October 1 to May long weekend), and no fees are charged, all sites are available on a first come, first served basis
- You may stay up to a maximum of 14 days (our Parks Department will be doing spot checks and verifying via license plates)
- Please pack out what you pack in as there is no caretaker on site, and garbage/recycling is an animal attractant
- Please review and follow the safety measures as per the link below
Please note: All Reservations are subject to the 50% non-refundable deposit.

ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. If you arrive at Bere Point Regional Campsite without a reservation, please be prepared for the possibility that the campsite is full and you will need to seek alternate accommodations.

The Regional District of Mount Waddington operates both the Bere Point Regional Campsite on Malcolm Island and the Quatse Regional Campground in Port Hardy. All reservations must be secured by payment of a deposit of 50% of the total nights staying for each site and each reservation (if booking multiple stays/sites). Please note that the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Effective January 01, 2024 campsite fees are as follows:
Non-Waterfront Sites ........................................................................ $20 per night
(sites not deemed to have direct access to a body of water)
Limited Access Waterfront Sites ....................................................... $20 per night
(sites deemed to have direct access to a body of water and not accessible by recreational vehicles >6m)
Waterfront Recreational Vehicle Accessible Sites............................. $30 per night
(sites deemed to have direct access to a body of water and accessible by recreational vehicles >6m)
20 Amp Service Sites (Quatse Regional Campground Only).................$37.50 per night
