The RDMW provides a wide array of community services to both incorporated municipalities and unincorporated rural areas. Their flexible structure allows them to tailor services to the specific needs of each community, ensuring equitable access across diverse regions.
Core Functions
Service Delivery: Including emergency planning, economic development, public works, and recreation programs.
Shared Services: Communities within a regional district benefit from shared services like emergency management, parks, recreation, waste disposal, and water systems.
Funding & Cost Recovery: The services are funded through taxation, fees, and grants. Costs are matched to the beneficiaries, ensuring fairness and transparency.
