Annual Utilities Billing
Property owners can now pay utilities online. This can be done through one's own online banking account, participating banks only (Not available through Royal Bank). Please search for Mount Waddington Utilities, Mt Waddington Ut, Waddington, etc. as each bank uses their own listing method. For utility payments owed to the RDMW, you can pay through these methods:
- Online banking with CIBC, Coastal Community Credit Union, or Scotia Bank (see "Bill Payment Instructions" link above)
- Over the phone by credit card, please dial: 250-956-3301
- Mail a cheque to: Regional District of Mount Waddington, PO Box 729, Port McNeill, BC V0N 2R0
- In person with debit card, credit card, or cash at our Administrative Office at 2044 McNeill Road, Port McNeill
At the March 15, 2016 RDMW Board meeting, Bylaw No. 896 "Regional District of Mount Waddington Finance Fees and Charges Bylaw" was adopted. The Bylaw is effective April 1, 2016 and enables the Regional District to recover some of the costs associated with the collection of fees and charges by establishing terms and conditions for payment, including interest and penalties. Property Taxes
The Regional District of Mount Waddington is not a tax authority. Therefore the Regional District does not issue property taxes notices nor collect property tax payments. For rural proprerty owners outside of a municipality in the Regional District of Mount Waddington, please visit the Provincial Government's How to Pay Your Rural Property Taxes webpage.
